Scott Archer
Director
Scott Archer is so happy to join the choir program at Fishers High School. Prior to FHS, Archer was the head choral director at Decatur Central High School, the assistant director at Pendleton Heights High School and MS Choir Director at Clark Pleasant Middle School. Scott graduated from Ball State University with a BME in Music Education. Archer’s groups have achieved many grand champion titles and caption awards, and he has been a clinician for various schools around Indianapolis. Outside of teaching, Archer is a performing member of the Indianapolis Men’s Chorus where he has been a featured soloist and has had the opportunity to sing with artists such as Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli, Victor Robinson and Ted Keegan. In college, Scott was a member of the Ball State University Singers and the Chamber Choir in many professional performances. He also leads worship and plays keyboard at Abundant Life Church with his wife, Erin.
Outside of music, Scott loves spending time with his wife Erin and their two kids Chloeann and Elaina. He also loves Mexican food and playing with his cute husky, Kali. Archer is super excited to join the Fishers Tiger Choirs team and is ready to have an incredible year!
Laney De Luna
Director
Laney De Luna is excited to join the Fishers Tigers Choirs family as one of the new directors. Laney is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan Universtiy with her Bachelor’s in Music Education with a choral emphasis. During her time at Indiana Wesleyan, she served as the Student Conductor for the IWU Women’s Chorus in addition to performing in featured and principle roles wih the IWU Lyric Theatre. Laney has also been given the opportunity to sing with various ensembles in the Indianapolis area, including the chance to sing with artists like Andrea Bocelli. Laney completed her student teaching semester with Fishers High School Choirs and is so happy to be a full-time member with the program!
When not teaching, Laney enjoys spending time with her friends and family – preferably over a great meal or while exploring the great outdoors! She loves all types of music, museums and a great cup of coffee. Laney De Luna cannot wait to see what all the choirs are able to accomplish this year!
Ross Dryer
Pianist
Ross Dryer, collaborative pianist, received his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and his Master of Music in Collaborative Piano from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he studied with Dr. Peter Miyamoto. He is currently employed as the choir accompanist at Fishers High School and for the Indianapolis Women’s Chorus.
